ADIPEC 2026 runs 2–5 November 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, open 10am to 6:30pm on the first three days and 10am to 5:30pm on 5 November. From Dubai, plan a daily drive of roughly 75 minutes to two hours each way depending on where you start and the traffic. There’s no onsite visitor parking in 2026, so book a chauffeur drop or use park-and-ride.

Many ADIPEC delegates stay in Dubai and commute to Abu Dhabi every morning, and the plan that works is different from any show in Dubai itself. We run exhibition and conference transport for energy-sector teams, including the Dubai–Abu Dhabi run during ADIPEC week. This guide covers the official access arrangements and how to make the commute bearable for four days.

When and where is ADIPEC 2026?

The organiser, ADIPEC, confirms 2–5 November 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, across its 16 exhibition halls.

The organiser’s FAQ also notes that under-18s aren’t allowed into the exhibition and there are no childcare facilities.

ADIPEC week overlaps with Dubai Design Week at d3 and Gulfood Manufacturing at Dubai World Trade Centre (3–5 November), so Dubai’s car fleet is busy in both directions. Our Dubai events calendar shows the full November clash.

How do you get to ADIPEC from Dubai?

The organiser says ADIPEC is reached by taxi, selected Abu Dhabi hotel shuttle buses, or park-and-ride shuttles from designated parking locations. For Dubai-based delegates, that translates into four options.

OptionHow it worksDaily effortBest for
Chauffeur from your Dubai hotelDoor to drop-off point, car waits and brings you backLowest; work in the car both waysExecutives, speakers, teams
Self-drive plus park-and-rideDrive to an Abu Dhabi park-and-ride site, shuttle to ADNECHigh; two legs each wayResidents with a car

Stay in Abu Dhabi for the weekHotel shuttle or local car each dayLowest commute, but a hotel moveDelegates with four full days

Drive times depend heavily on your start point. Dubai Marina and JLT are nearer the Abu Dhabi border than Downtown, Business Bay or Deira. Our guide to the Dubai to Abu Dhabi distance and travel time breaks it down by area.

Etihad Rail’s passenger trains now run between Dubai Station (Al Yalayis) and Abu Dhabi Station (Mohamed bin Zayed City), and Etihad Rail’s site lists a shuttle transfer with a stop at ADNEC Centre. It’s an option for a delegate who lives near Al Yalayis, but check the timetable against a 10am opening and a 6:30pm close before you rely on it; our Etihad Rail guide covers the stations and the last-mile shuttle.

Parking, drop-off and park-and-ride at ADNEC (2026 arrangements)

The organiser has now published the 2026 plan on its getting to ADIPEC 2026 page:

  • Onsite parking: not available.
  • Park-and-ride: free on 2–5 November from five sites. Zone 1 sites (Shahama, Deerfields Mall and Al Raha) drop near the ADNEC roundabout entrance; Zone 2 sites (Marina Mall and Sas Al Nakhl) drop near Marina Hall Car Park D. Shuttles run every 20 minutes from 8:00 to 19:30, and Zone 2 starts at 6:00 on the opening day.
  • Hotel shuttles: complimentary buses every 30 minutes from selected Abu Dhabi and Yas Island hotels to the ADNEC roundabout entrance, 8:00–12:00 in the morning, with afternoon runs between 16:00 and 19:00. No Dubai hotels are on the list.
  • Taxi drop-off and pickup: Marina Hall (Hall 16) near Car Park E, and opposite the Aloft Hotel in the Embassies area.

For drivers coming from Dubai, Shahama, Deerfields Mall and Al Raha are on the Dubai side of Abu Dhabi, so you park before the city traffic and let the shuttle do the last stretch. The organiser says shuttle timings can shift with live traffic.

Where your chauffeur drops you and waits

With no onsite parking, the chauffeur’s routine changes. This is how we run ADIPEC days:

  1. Drop-off at the point for your hall. Send us your hall and stand. We use the drop-off point nearest to it, which for 2026 means Marina Hall (Hall 16) near Car Park E or opposite the Aloft Hotel.
  2. The car waits off site. Your chauffeur holds in a nearby area as marshals direct, not at the venue kerb.
  3. Call 20 minutes ahead. The last stretch into ADNEC is slow at peak times, so give more notice than you would in Dubai.
  4. Same pickup point every day. We fix it on day one and keep it for the week.

When should you leave Dubai each morning?

The halls open at 10am. To walk in before the opening crush, leave Dubai between 7am and 7:30am. Later departures meet the full weight of the Dubai–Abu Dhabi commute plus ADIPEC traffic around the venue.

In the evening:

  • Leave before 5:30pm to get ahead of the closing wave, or
  • Stay for an evening event and head back after 8pm, when the roads are calmer.

Leaving at 6:30pm sharp, with every delegate and exhibitor, is the slowest option. Thursday closes at 5:30pm. If you’re flying out that evening, tell us your flight and we’ll plan the route to DXB, DWC or Abu Dhabi airport.

Commute or stay in Abu Dhabi?

For four days of ADIPEC, the daily round trip adds up to several hours in the car each day. That’s workable in a chauffeured car where you can take calls and prepare, and tiring behind the wheel.

If you’d rather stay in Abu Dhabi, we provide full local service there too: our chauffeur service in Abu Dhabi handles hotel-to-ADNEC runs and dinners, with the Dubai transfers at each end of the week. If you’re back a month later for the race, our Abu Dhabi Grand Prix guide covers the Dubai–Yas Island run.

As market context for budgeting, published Dubai rate cards in September 2026 show a business sedan with driver at AED 600–1,300 for a full day of 10 hours, a large SUV at AED 1,300–2,000 and a V-Class at AED 1,400–1,600, with an extra-emirate surcharge of about AED 125–200 on some cards. Our own rates are on our pricing page and include the chauffeur, fuel, Salik tolls and VAT.

Frequently asked questions

When and where is ADIPEC 2026?

ADIPEC 2026 runs 2–5 November 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, across 16 exhibition halls. Opening hours are 10am to 6:30pm from 2 to 4 November and 10am to 5:30pm on 5 November, according to the organiser. Under-18s aren’t allowed into the exhibition.

Is there parking at ADNEC during ADIPEC?

No. For 2026 the organiser says onsite parking isn’t available. Drivers use five free park-and-ride sites (Shahama, Deerfields Mall, Al Raha, Marina Mall and Sas Al Nakhl), with shuttles every 20 minutes from 8:00 to 19:30 on 2–5 November. From Dubai, the Shahama, Deerfields Mall and Al Raha sites come first.

Is there a shuttle from Dubai to ADIPEC?

No. The organiser’s free shuttles run from selected Abu Dhabi and Yas Island hotels and from park-and-ride sites in Abu Dhabi; no Dubai hotel is on the 2026 list. From Dubai, most delegates drive to a park-and-ride site, take a taxi or book a chauffeur for the day.

When is ADIPEC 2027?

Not announced yet. ADIPEC ran 3–6 November 2025 and runs 2–5 November 2026, both at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, so early November 2027 is the likely slot. Don’t fix hotels or cars for 2027 until the organiser publishes the dates.

How long does it take to get from Dubai to ADNEC?

Allow about 75 minutes to two hours each way, depending on where in Dubai you start and the traffic. Dubai Marina and JLT are the quickest starting points; Downtown and Deira take longer. At ADIPEC opening and closing times, the last stretch around the venue adds more.

What time should I leave Dubai for ADIPEC?

Leave between 7am and 7:30am to arrive before the 10am opening without joining the peak. In the evening, leave before 5:30pm or after an evening event; setting off at the 6:30pm close puts you in the heaviest traffic of the day.
